Position Details:

• Job Title: RN - Medical Surgical
• Location: Lenoir, NC 28645
• Job Type: Contract (13 weeks) | On-site
• Start Date: April 14th, 2025
• Shift: Nights (7pm-7am) | 3x12s
• Travel Pay: $2,000/week

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process in a hospital setting
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and safety evaluations
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Prioritize and organize patient care based on acuity and need
• Utilize hospital standards, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required for patient care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and cost-effective care strategies
• Support a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment

Education:

• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing

Certifications and Licenses:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or Compact license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg nursing experience

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
